Your portrait photography experience in just 4 easy steps!
STEP 1 - PLANNING YOUR SESSION
Your portrait photography experience starts with an over the phone planning session with your photographer, Karen.
In this consultation, Karen will get to know a little bit about you and your family. Based on your personal tastes, she will then design the perfect session for you.
With over 20 years experience as a professional photographer, Karen is an expert in not only photographing people, but in image interior design. So can also give you advice if you have specific ideas about what you would like created for you from your session. Helping you ensure it is designed to look amazing in your home.
From here if you love the sound of your Vanilla Images session, a session date and time will be booked in for you.
If you do not have a session Voucher to cover your sessions booking fee, you will be given the option to purchase one during your call.
STEP 2 - YOUR PHOTOSHOOT
This is where the fun really starts!
All photography experiences are completely unique to you and your family, and follow your family’s pace.
Your session may be a sleepy cuddly newborn photography session; or a family photography session full of adventure and fun; or a more relaxed session if that’s your family’s vibe.
Karen’s years of experience photographing people means you are guaranteed to get images you LOVE. Beautiful images that are natural, and reflect your family’s connection and personality.

At the end of your session, a day and time will be selected for you to come back into the studio for your viewing and design appointment.
This is usually 2 weeks after your photoshoot. But please chat to us if you need a shorter or longer turnaround time, and we will see if we can accommodate your timeline.
STEP 3 - YOUR VIEWING & DESIGN APPOINTMENT
This is where you get to see the magic!!!
Your viewing and design appointment is held in the studio in Kew.
In this appointment we look through all of the amazing moments from your session and choose the images you love best. Based on your choices, we then design the products you want to keep forever.
Karen will help you every step of the way and is an expert in image design, Together you will be able to create something really beautiful to keep forever.

STEP 4 - YOUR FINISHED ARTWORK
This is the exciting part!!! – Taking home your beautiful artwork!!!
Your order is ready 1 – 6 weeks after your Viewing (the varying time depends on what you have ordered).
A pick up time will be arranged with you at the studio or home delivery and installation is available if you prefer.
All artwork is heirloom archival, meaning that it is made from the finest photographic products and designed to last a lifetime. Therefore you really can re-live your memories, today, experience them again once the moment has past, and then pass them down to your children in the future.
Photographic artwork really does become one of your most valued treasures.
